After their ship is caught in a mysterious storm, the PAW Patrol pups are shipwrecked on an uncharted tropical island teeming with dinosaurs. There they meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become a true expert on all things dino. When the PAW Patrol's arch-nemesis, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly exploiting the island's natural resources, he accidentally triggers the eruption of a massive dormant volcano.
